For education only
All guides on FixItDevice.com are provided for general educational purposes. They describe procedures that worked in our testing and are documented by manufacturers, but every device, firmware version and home setup differs. You follow any guide at your own risk.
Safety first
- Always switch a device off and unplug it before opening covers or touching internal parts.
- We do not publish instructions for working on mains wiring, power-supply units, or heating/HVAC internals. Where a fix reaches that point, our guides stop and tell you to call a qualified professional.
- Printer service modes and counter resets are described for the device you own. Resetting a maintenance counter without servicing the underlying part can cause damage (for example ink overflow) — our guides flag this wherever it applies.

We work to keep guides accurate and update them when manufacturers change procedures. If you spot an error, please tell us via the Contact page so we can correct it.
